Photo from Yukon Quest, which ends this week in Whitehorse. See more in the Yukon Quest Pool in Flickr.
On the third of March, a dozen teenagers will take off to Whitehorse in Yukon. A week expedition on dog sleds is planned for these who are in cancer remission. It will be the Foundation’s 17th adventure, and its eight in the snow.
I’ll take part as the blog writer, publishing right here daily updates of text and photos (if the satt phone permits). I’m very excited to be a part of this, mainly because the folks at the Foundation are awesome.
Personally, I look forward to witnessing Auroras, or often called the Northern Lights. A NASA scientist told me that we will be in the best part of the world in the best time of the year to witness the moving lights in the sky. If you’re coming along, make sure you bring your tripod to capture these! I cross my fingers that we won’t get clouds at night.

wow! photos avion superbe vous semblez ĂŞtre dans un autre monde qui nous dĂ©passe….hello to Bertrand de la part de Jano et Pierrot……..
Posted 05 Mar 2007 at 20:13 ¶Quelle aventure among the mountains of Yukon! Greetings from the tundra to your east, at Baker Lake, where there are many great, but semi-wild, dog teams, and where today we had minus 60 in the windchill. And no trees. You have the better deal, so Bertrand, stop complaining.
Happy trails.
