The Foundation comprises four employees, all women. They are a mix of youth and wisdom, spontaneity and perseverance towards the development of a new perception of therapy, that of therapeutic adventure.

Cofounder of the Foundation, the Montreal-born 32 year old is one of the first generation of graduates from the Bachelor’s in Outdoors and Adventure Tourism program at the University of Quebec in Chicoutimi.
Her determination, attention to detail, and rallying spirit are the qualities that made the Foundation what it is today, continuing its more than 10 years of existence.
In 2006, Annick’s hard work was rewarded; she received a number of consecutive achievement awards:
- the “Femme dynamisante” award from Clarins
- the “Femme d’affaires du Saguenay” (femmesaffaires.qc.ca)
- the La Presse/Radio-Canada Personality of the year for the Courage, Humanism, and Personal Achievement category (listen to the interview here)
- the Québec YWCA Women of Distinction award in the Community Development category
These awards illustrate the quality of the work achieved for the development of the major project that is the On the Tip of the Toes Foundation, a Canadian pioneer in adventure therapy.
