The Foundation comprises four employees, all women. They are a mix of youth and wisdom, spontaneity and perseverance towards the development of a new perception of therapy, that of therapeutic adventure.

Héléna joined the Foundation in 2003, when the organization was having a growth spurt. Having graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Outdoors and Adventure Tourism in Chicoutimi, Quebec, she plans, organizes, and takes part in the Foundation’s expeditions.

From the selection of young participants in oncology centers to the follow-up of their progress after the expeditions, not to mention the detailed planning of these great adventures, Héléna brings together all the ingredients required to make the trip an unforgettable experience for the entire group. On average, it takes four months for Héléna to organize one of the Foundation’s expeditions. (See a cool video of what an expedition with us is like.)

Originally from Montreal, she has been living in Chicoutimi for the past seven years and says: “I don’t think I’ll be going back to Montreal so soon!”
