Dominic from Abitibi with Paul (in sled) from Montreal enjoyed their first day.
Rod gave us the lowdown tonight. Tomorrow we will start of our five days expedition that will bring us over 100 km north of here. At destination, we will be picked up and driven back.
Two big heated tents will house the girls (five of them) and the boys (7 of them). These dormitories are also our dining and mess hall.
Weather will apparently get better through out the week. Hopefully the sky will clear up so we can finally see our first Auroras. I cross my fingers.
The sat phone is still untested. So be prepared to get updates here without photos. I know you love them, but we might have to save the best for the end.
Rod also told us we are Uncommon Journeys’ biggest group ever. With their staff of three, we’ll be 21 altogether.
