In summertime, three types of seals are present in the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park:

  1. The grey seal is found in the Atlantic Ocean, from France to Canada’s coasts.
  2. The common seal is very, well, common. You can find him anywhere in the northern hemisphere. This one can dive up to 500-metres deep. Longer than the CN tower, upside down.
  3. The harp seal is a northern species whose range is from Russia to Canada. Last estimates give it a population of 6 million.
